Description
The Wired Concrete Spacer are high-quality, single-cover spacers designed to ensure accurate reinforcement cover in concrete structures. These square concrete spacers feature galvanised loop wire for precision load transfer, allowing spacers to remain in position during formwork erection and concreting.
Manufactured to meet Australian Standard AS/NZS 2425:2015, these spacers are independently tested and classified as very low in rapid chloride permeability by SGS Laboratories, helping to minimise the risk of reinforcement corrosion over time. With a minimum compressive strength of 60 MPa, validated by Hanson Group Technical Services, they are built to withstand the pressures of demanding applications without deforming or breaking, no deformation in heat or cold, concrete cover accurately maintained.
The galvanised loop wire integrates seamlessly with in-situ concrete, reducing the likelihood of hairline cracking between the spacer and the concrete. Consistent dimensional tolerances and excellent physical and chemical resistance withstand harsh environmental and handling conditions.
Ideal for impermeable concrete applications. Suitable for use in slabs, foundations, walls, and structural elements. Available in a variety of sizes. Pack sizes vary – 50, 25, and 20 depending on size.
