Description
The Somero S-940 Laser Screed® delivers unmatched versatility, power, and simplicity for professional concrete finishing. Designed with operator comfort and productivity in mind, this advanced screed features a fully automated self-leveling screed head and a raking/fine grade head, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. With fewer switches and an easy-access hinged console, the S-940 allows operators to work efficiently and comfortably on every jobsite.
Its foldable elevation beam provides a narrower profile for transport while maintaining easy access to tight spaces. The off-set screed head reduces overlap per pass, increasing efficiency and consistency. Available with a powerful diesel engine option, the S-940 is built to tackle even the most demanding concrete projects.
Equipped with the Somero Quick GradeSet System™, auto valve calibration, and compatible with the 3-D Profiler System®, the S-940 ensures precise, high-quality floors every time. The auger screed head handles chaired mesh, rebar, heat tubes, and some slab-on-deck applications, while the raking/fine grade head excels at raking concrete, finish grading, and spreading materials like sand or stone. Additional features include column block protection, optional rotating head dollies, and performance on slumps as low as 3 ½” (8.9 cm).
