Prime Retarder is a professional-grade, water soluble concrete treatment used to expose aggregate in horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces across driveways, pathways, patios, and commercial slabs. The easy-to-see fluorescent green colour ensures even coverage, reducing missed or non-covered areas during application.
The viscosity has been developed to enable application to flat and vertical surfaces without excessive run off or creating over-exposed valleys. Reduced wash off times due to excellent performance in warm or windy conditions, outperforming most other retardants on the market for Australian site conditions.
When applied correctly, Prime Retarder saves time and labour while delivering sensational results every time. Easy to apply with a sprayer or roller, this 20 litre solution provides excellent coverage and long-lasting performance.
For warm or windy conditions, cover the job with builders’ film (polythene) or spray with Prime Evaploc.
