Description
Prime Evaploc is a high-performance, water soluble curing compound designed to protect and enhance freshly poured concrete surfaces. When sprayed on curing concrete, it creates a plastic film that retards water evaporation during setting – greatly reducing the chances of plastic shrinkage (known as hairlines) while making the concrete more workable for an extended period.
Prime Evaploc retards concrete water evaporation by up to 80% in windy conditions and up to 60% in sunlight. Using Evaploc allows concrete to remain workable longer by delaying the surface from crusting over in hot and windy Australian conditions. Once applied, the concrete surface has a creamy feel under the trowel, making finishing easier without altering concrete strength or durability.
The distinctive fluorescent green colour ensures easy and even product application, leaving no staining or residue once cured. Reduces the chances of plastic shrinkage by up to 80% if the ground surface has been thoroughly watered prior to concrete placement.
Diluted, Prime Evaploc costs less than 10 cents per square metre per coat. Coverage: 10 litres of diluted Evaploc covers approximately 50 square metres of concrete with one coat. The 20 litre container offers excellent coverage for commercial and residential projects.
