Description
The Plastic Tipped Wire Bar Chair, also known as a spider chair or wire spacer, is a versatile and durable solution for maintaining accurate reinforcement cover in concrete construction. These metal wire chairs are ideal for suspended slabs, tilt panels, and precast panels, enabling reinforcing bar and mesh to be placed at the correct cover distance from the concrete edge as specified by the engineer.
The premium wire spacers feature a heavy duty plastic film coating on the bottom of the chair legs to prevent rust from marking the outside face of the concrete and to stop rust entering the concrete via the metal chair, helping prevent concrete cancer. The minimal footprint ensures no visible markings on the concrete face.
Available in a massive range of sizes from 20mm up to 300mm high. Smaller sizes up to 130mm are supplied in packs of 100, while larger sizes up to 300mm come in packs of 50. For sizes outside these ranges, please contact us for bag quantities.
All steel spacers meet Australian Standard AS/NZS 2425:2015, maintaining consistent spacing and performance even under the weight of fresh concrete.
