Description
The Plastic Conduit 3m is a sacrificial formwork accessory designed to create a smooth, removable pathway for Z-bar and Reid Bar in concrete construction. Left permanently in the slab after the pour, the conduit allows the reinforcing bar to be extracted cleanly and re-used on future jobs.
Each 3 metre length can be easily cut on site to match the required wall thickness. The conduit is lightweight, impact resistant, and simple to handle during installation.
Formwork cones are fitted to the exposed ends of the conduit to seal out grout during the concrete pour, preventing blockages and ensuring the Z-bar can be withdrawn without drama when stripping forms. The cones also leave a clean, recessed pocket around the conduit, making later patching faster and neater.
Cones are stocked separately in. A practical, time-saving system for electricians, formworkers, and contractors working on structural walls and lifts.
