Danley, patented 6mm plate dowel cradle for joint stability. Available in Perth.
Description
The Danley Systems PD3 Dowel Cradle is a patented, high-performance plate dowel system designed to provide superior joint stability in concrete slabs. Featuring a tapered, sleeveless plate dowel with 6mm thickness, the PD3 Dowel Cradle limits joint deflection more effectively than traditional sleeved systems, ensuring precise load transfer and reducing the risk of spalling, restraint, and joint damage.
Engineered to meet ACI Standards and Super Flat Floor (SFF) requirements, the PD3 system extends the life-cycle of floors, improving serviceability and efficiency while offering the highest return on investment. By eliminating plastic sleeves, the system allows direct steel-to-concrete contact, providing tighter control tolerance and superior load deflection performance.
The wire cradle acts as both a chair and spacer, maintaining dowel alignment, height, and spacing during slab pours. Available in two sizes to suit different slab thicknesses: one for 120–135mm slabs and one for 140–160mm slabs. The tapered plate dowels allow lateral movement, creating a total contraction joint system solution that reduces the risk of joint failure, protects gap sealants, and prevents moisture and debris infiltration.
Delivers fast and accurate horizontal and vertical placement with a wider sawcut “sweet spot” for improved contractor tolerance. Durable, precise, and engineered for maximum performance.
