Description
The Danley Systems Diamond Dowel w/Nails is a high-performance plate dowel system designed for construction joints in concrete slabs and pavements. It efficiently transfers vertical loads across joints while minimising differential deflection between adjacent slab panels, ensuring a smooth, durable surface and reducing the risk of stress-related cracking.
Easy to install, these dowels attach directly to wooden form boards or metal separation plates and come pre-packaged with all components ready for immediate use. The nailing flange provides secure attachment, and the double-headed nails hold the sleeve in place during concrete placement. The sleeve system allows up to 5mm of expansion, keeping dowels perpendicular and stable for precise load transfer.
Manufactured from saw-cut steel bar to AS/NZS 3679.1 Grade 300, Diamond Dowels maximise the surface area of joints and comply with TR34 (4th Edition), supporting load capacity for joint gaps up to 20mm. They are available in Trade Packs, which contain 25 sets of 6mm plates with orange sleeves and 15 sets of 10mm plates with blue sleeves, or in Bulk Packs of 500 units for large-scale projects, with dowels and sleeves packed separately on a skid.
