Description
Connolly Key Joints are a continuous pour solution for contraction joints in slab on ground applications. This roll-formed galvanised steel section is used as a leave-in-place formwork to control shrinkage induced cracking, fixed in place using the patented peg and wedge system for fast and accurate height adjustment.
The unique tongue profile provides positive load transfer with minimal stepping. For higher load applications, the preformed knock-outs allow Key Joints to be used in conjunction with Connolly Universal Dowel Sleeves, installed using the patented twist-fix feature. Additional stiffening ribs ensure straighter joints, while the galvanised coating provides corrosion protection. The profile can also be used to screed off, making level setting quick and easy. Available in 3m lengths for 100mm and 150mm slab thickness. A wide range of permanent and removable capping and rebate moulds are available.
