Description
Connolly Biscuit Plate Dowels are designed to transfer loads across construction joints in slab-on-ground applications. The plastic sleeve encases one half of the plate dowel to de-bond the dowel from the concrete, allowing for expansion, contraction, and lateral movement at the joint while minimising differential deflection between slabs.
Available in 6mm and 10mm thickness in hot-dip galvanised finish. The injection moulded polystyrene sleeve is colour coded for easy identification – red for 6mm and green for 10mm. With pre-installed nails and V-notches on all sides, these dowels can be easily and accurately installed on conventional timber or steel formwork, ensuring perfect dowel alignment while speeding up installation. Hot-dip galvanised finish provides excellent corrosion resistance for long-term durability.
