Concrete Spacer Blocks

Description

Concrete Spacer Blocks, also known as Aspro Spacers, are specially engineered blocks designed to carry very high loads while placing reinforcing bar or mesh at the correct cover distance from the edge of concrete structures. Available as a plain block or with a galvanised loop wire to enable easy tying of reinforcement onto the block.

Due to their strength and high load resistance, these concrete spacers are used on a broad range of large concreting projects, including bridges, foundations, dams, and large mining slabs. Ideal for footings and slabs with heavy bars, and commonly used with base plates.

All concrete spacers meet Australian Standard AS/NZS 2425:2015 and are rated to a minimum compression strength of 60 MPa. Independently verified by SGS Laboratories, they are rated very low in chloride permeability, helping protect reinforcement from corrosion and extending the service life of your structure.

Made from materials designed to bond seamlessly with in-situ concrete, reducing the risk of hairline cracking at the interface. Strong physical and chemical resistance ensures they retain shape and performance under harsh environmental conditions and temperature fluctuations.
