Cementaid Calform NX 15L

Description

Cementaid Calform NX is a form release agent designed for the production of A-Grade off-form concrete finishes. It reacts with the alkali present in the cement to form a microscopic water repellent film between concrete and formwork, producing a high quality finish on stripping. This action protects formwork against continuous wetting and drying, and prevents cement sticking to the treated form surface.

Recommended for all A-Grade off-form concrete finishes, and on formwork, kibbles, wheelbarrows, scaffolding, shovels, and tools of trade in contact with cement or concrete. Also suitable for use on aluminium or steel frames to protect against splashes of concrete or mortar.

Apply by spray or brush at a rate of 13 to 20 square metres per litre, depending on timber or metal formwork. Use sparingly and avoid excess or pooling. For rough or sawn timber used as re-usable formwork, apply Cementaid Calform Cream first to protect against curling and resist staining from natural timber resins. Available in 15L.

Note: Where Calform NX is used and Calcure B is to be applied, clean down the concrete surface to remove any fine powder residue prior to application.
