Description
Round Dowel Sleeves are designed to fit over round dowel bars, allowing for expansion and contraction at concrete joints while maintaining load transfer between slabs. The sleeve creates a debonded zone that enables the dowel to move freely as the concrete responds to temperature changes and settling, reducing stress and helping prevent cracking at the joint line.
This Universal Dowel Sleeve is available in 12mm, 16mm and 20mm diameters to suit a range of dowel sizes. The 20mm option includes a nail base for secure positioning during the pour. Suitable for use in slab construction, extensions and repairs, these sleeves provide a simple and effective solution for accommodating movement while preserving joint integrity over time.
