Description
The RapidTool RT-40 Rebar Tie Machine is built for Perth steel fixers and concreters who need to secure rebar fast without destroying their hands, arms, and back. This cordless rebar tier delivers lightning-fast ties in just 0.6 seconds with a quick bar release mechanism and automatic wire reload – increasing rebar tying production by up to eight times compared to manual tying, while saving up to 75% on total labour and material costs.
Powered by an 18V 4.0Ah lithium-ion battery, the RT-40 achieves over 5000 ties on a single charge using a two-wrap configuration, or over 4500 ties using three wraps. The dual brushless twisting and feeding motor system, combined with advanced digital tie tension control and warning sensor detection, provides adjustable tension and extended machine operational life. Precision engineered and tested to over two million ties.
The slim arm design allows for tight ties and shorter tie height in congested reinforcement. An optional electronic extension arm is available to eliminate bending over altogether. Ergonomic and lightweight, the RT-40 reduces physical impact on the body while delivering consistent, secure results on foundations, slabs, footings, and precast work.
