Description
Connolly Biscuit Plate Dowels are designed to transfer loads across construction joints in slab-on-ground applications. The plastic sleeve encases one half of the plate dowel to de-bond the dowel from the concrete, allowing for expansion, contraction, and lateral movement at the joint while minimising differential deflection between slabs.
Available in 6mm and 10mm thickness in stainless steel finish. The injection moulded polystyrene sleeve is colour coded for easy identification – red for 6mm and green for 10mm. With pre-installed nails and V-notches on all sides, these dowels can be easily and accurately installed on conventional timber or steel formwork, ensuring perfect dowel alignment while speeding up installation. Stainless steel finish provides superior corrosion resistance for demanding environments.
